A new Maths topic fades within days unless it’s practised again. Bodhi Reps brings each question back just as it starts to slip: two days after your child gets it right, then a week and a half after that, then six weeks, then five months. It’s called spaced repetition, and it’s one of the most researched ways to make things stick.

Meet Bodhi School’s Head Tutor, Mr. Pattni
A qualified teacher and GCSE examiner who has helped thousands of students
For more than 14 years, Mr. Pattni has carefully tracked down the traps and common mistakes that cost students marks in GCSE Maths, like rounding too early or losing a minus sign halfway through. He marks GCSE papers every year, so he sees exactly where marks are lost, and he teaches your child to spot every trap before exam day. His greatest joy is building his students’ confidence.
He has a degree in Physics from a Russell Group university and completed teacher training (PGCE) with Distinction. Since then he has taught in over a dozen schools, including longer posts at schools rated Outstanding by Ofsted and Excellent by the ISI, so he knows what really goes on in the classroom. Frequently asked questions
When are the classes?
Thursday classes are 75 minutes, live online: 17:00 to 18:15 for Years 9 and 10, and 18:30 to 19:45 for Year 11. Sunday Maths A&E runs from 12:30 to 14:00 for every year group. Both run every week of the year, half-terms and school holidays included.
Which exam boards and tiers do you teach?
We teach Higher tier only. That’s GCSE Maths for Edexcel, AQA and OCR, and Edexcel International GCSE, for Years 9, 10 and 11. Students can carry on with us to A-level Maths.
Do you teach Foundation tier?
Not yet. For now, Bodhi School is for Higher tier students only, in GCSE Maths and Edexcel International GCSE. Foundation tier will be available from June 2027.
How much time does it take each week?
About three hours: the 75-minute Thursday class, plus Bodhi Reps, which is short sets about four days a week of around 25 minutes each. Sunday Maths A&E is a drop-in, so your child comes when they need it.
What is Sunday Maths A&E?
A live drop-in every Sunday lunchtime. Your child brings any question they’re stuck on, from our set work or their school homework, and gets it answered there and then.
What if my child misses a Thursday class?
Every class is recorded, so your child can watch the one they missed. They can also bring anything from it to Sunday Maths A&E, and the Bodhi Report each Friday lists the classes they attended, so you’ll know if missed classes start to add up.
How does payment work?
You pay £389 £189 when you enrol, which covers your child’s first month. After that, it’s taken on the 1st of each month. Enrol by 31 December 2026 and £189 stays your price for as long as the membership is continuous, even after it goes up to £389 for new families in April 2027.
Can we join later in the year?
Yes. We admit 12 new students each month, and each starts on the 1st. Families who enrol from 1 January pay £389 £189 until 31 March 2027, then £389, the price for new families from April 2027.
